Unfortunately today’s Vets game has been called off.

Roseland Fall Agonisingly Short
Camborne School of Mines 12 – Roseland 10
On Saturday Roseland travelled the short distance to Penryn RFC to take on Camborne School of Mines (CSM) in the Tribute Cornwall League. The pitch and the weather were near perfect for running rugby despite the moderate breeze blowing down the pitch from the Mabe end.
Camelford Game Cancelled
Unfortunately Saturdays home fixture versus Camelford has been cancelled. Camelford sadly couldn’t raise a team.
Saturday 2nd Decemeber Roseland are away to Helston and there is a bus available to and from St Mawes for both players and supporters.
A match report on last Saturday’s agonising defeat to Camborne School of Mines will be posted soon.
Yellow Cards Cost Roseland
Roseland 14 – Bodmin 44
Second placed Bodmin arrived at Philleigh on Saturday afternoon having not played at Roseland for several seasons following their successful stint in the Cornwall and Devon League however they arrived on Saturday hopeful of another 5 point win and despite Roseland resilience they came away the victors.
Roseland Battle Valiantly
Veor 26 – Roseland 19
Roseland travelled down to third placed Veor on Saturday hoping to carry on with the good form that seen them beat Stithians the previous week.
For much of this encounter it was an even affair with Veor’s influential goal kicking scrum half probably proving the difference as he had a near faultless day with the boot including a monster 60m penalty on the stroke of half time.
Catch the Bus to Bolingey!
Roseland Let Loose
Roseland 57 – Stithians 7
Saturday afternoon saw Stithians make the short trip to Philleigh for another fixture in the Tribute Cornwall League.
This match pitted Roseland (9th) versus Stithians (8th) in a potentially season defining game. The winner had the chance to possibly secure Cornwall One rugby after Christmas. Stithians held the upper hand by being a point above Roseland.
