I have been gathering information for the past three months in order to put together a picture, as varied and diverse as possible, of what our rugby club represents from those who have developed its character over the 50 years.
Up to this point I have received an excellent response from local folk, ex-members and contributions from other clubs which is beginning to draw a tremendous picture of what we are part of. 50 years represents a huge spread of experiences and there is plenty of capacity and space yet to fill. Currently I am holding about 50% of articles and would prefer the same amount again.
I know many people have promised to submit a contribution but “round-up time” is getting near. We plan to compile the submissions on 1st February 2022 in preparation for going to press. So please get those stories and impressions together and send to me, Roger Grove, at: rgrove123@hotmail.co.uk by 31st January 2022.
