Today Roseland got their first win of the season!
A 21-31 victory against St Austell 2nds.

Well, the next 3 weekends we now have friendlys! So no break in games, first 2 are away, then the third is at home – so we finish the month with 2 games at Philleigh:
- 7th – St Austell 2nds Away – KO 3pm
- 14th – Falmouth 2nds Away – KO 3pm
- 21st – Camelford – Home – KO 3pm

Great turnout for first game of the season
Last night saw the first game of the season. Lots of spectators and lots of players! A great evening of rugby (although no-one seems to know what the score was).

Season Starts on Tuesday!
It might still be August – but the new season starts on Tuesday for Roseland RFC. It’s going to be a busy week…
First match of the year is a friendly with St Austell 2nds on Tuesday 27th, Kick off at 7pm (or possibly 6.30pm – tbc!).
Saturday then sees our first ‘real’ game of the season – a Cup game against Liskeard-Looe.
Both are home games – so please do come along and support the team.
As if all that wasn’t enough, Nathan Chapman has been selected to Captain the Cornwall Clubs XV who are taking on the Cornish Pirates on Friday 30th August, KO 7.30pm.
