Notes on the dress code…

It’s “Black Tie is optional, but encouraged” – but what does that mean?

For the chaps Black Tie is a dinner jacket, black trousers, white shirt and bow tie – think James Bond.

If you can’t do that – then a nice suit and tie is cool.

For the ladies – technically black tie means a full length dress, but don’t worry it doesn’t mean a big old ball gown! And it definitely doesn’t mean you have to wear a black dress…

If you’re all out of full length options (or you just don’t like the way it looks this week), then any nice dress is fine – think wedding guest attire and you can’t go wrong. (but leave the hat at home!)

And ladies – avoid the hokey cokey!
