Mike Harding was a playing member of Roseland Rugby Club between 1975 and 1980 when he emigrated to Australia. He made some good friends in his playing days. Being very much a community club I know that many former players from that era are still in touch and actively supporting it.
As you may know Mike tragically passed away on 6/10/2016. His funeral was held in Noosa Australia on 21st November.
By popular request, I am trying to organise a celebration of his life for those who could not make the funeral especially the people he left behind here in UK.
To that end I have booked Truro Golf Club on Saturday 28th January 2017 from 2.30. It would be great if you could join us.
It is intended to be an informal affair whereby we can all share memories, anecdotes and tributes.
What I would like is for you to come along and, if you wish to, maybe provide a tribute or anecdote to share with us.
We also plan to have a buffet to round off the afternoon.
I need an idea of numbers for catering purposes. So please contact me to let me know if you can come along.
There will be refreshments available throughout the afternoon.
