Roseland 13 – Perranporth 61 Tribute Cup Quarter Final

Thank you to Chris Brown for the photos, and Tom Day for the excellent match report…

Having won their group having played some tidy running rugby and conceding only 3 points Roseland were feeling confident. [Read more…]

Roseland 50 – Lankelly-Fowey 3

Saturday saw a fantastic game fought out at Philleigh. The last of the Tribute Cup pool games saw 7 of Roseland go over for tries, including 2 each for Tommy Whiles and Rhys Bull! Other try scorers were Christian Benbow, Ryan Harris, David Williams, and Nathan Chapman.

Thanks to Lankelly for another great game.

This means Roseland finished top of our pool, and will be playing the quarter final against Perranporth at home in Philleigh. The date of the game is to be confirmed – and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s confirmed.

Roseland 29 – Camelford 0 (Tribute Cup)

It was a beautiful afternoon for a game of rugby, and both sides played an exciting, fast-paced game.

After a bit of a slow start Roseland got the score board moving, and kept Camelford from getting started.

Roseland’s try scorers included Andy Harris getting his first Roseland try.

Next week we’re playing Penryn 2nds at home (kick off 2.30).

On the 28th it’s the second of our four Tribute Cup Pool games against Llankelly-Fowey. And away game with a supporters and players coach being organised see here for more details and to make sure your name is on the list.

Bus trip to Lankelly-Fowey…

On February 28th we’re playing the first leg of our 2 pool games against Lankelly-Fowey.

Kick off is at 2.30 at the Lankelly-Fowey ground, and we’re organising a bus to take all the players and supporters to the game, for a pub crawl in Fowey and then safely back home. It’ll be about £10 per head for the bus.

We need to know who wants in so we can book the right size of bus, AND to work out where and when the pick-ups/drop-offs need to be. (probably St Mawes, Portscatho, Tregony).

So… to let us know:

  • If you’re not playing in the match, either:
    • Let Chris Thomas know (all the normal channels)
    • Let Chloe Thomas know via the website contact form
  • If you are playing in the match:
