Camelford 0 – Roseland 28

Our second visit to Camelford was a much more successful trip than our first. We had a great club trip out on the bus, plus the team played better giving us a solid win.

Team performance was back to our normal standards, with Matt Eddy getting all 4 conversions.

A great game, thanks Camelford for hosting us this weekend.

[Tom was busy butchering – so only a short report this week]

The next game will be the annual Boxing Day clash with Truro. It’s at Truro this year, and kick off it rumoured to be about 12.30 – but has not yet been confirmed. We’ll update you as soon as we know.

Camelford 3 – Roseland 6

Roseland dog out victory over battling Camelford

On another blustery Saturday afternoon Roseland travelled to Camelford for the final league game of the “first half” of the season.

The final score of 6-3 to Roseland told the whole story. In a game of few chances created by either side this result went the way of the team that kicked their penalty goals. [Read more…]

Camelford 0 – Roseland 30

Yesterday Roseland clocked up another Tribute Cup win, despite a slow start and some strong attacking play from Camelford.

Thanks to Camelford for a great game, and hospitality and we look forward to coming to play you again soon.

By which point we’ll get the right location for the pitch onto the website!

Roseland 29 – Camelford 0 (Tribute Cup)

It was a beautiful afternoon for a game of rugby, and both sides played an exciting, fast-paced game.

After a bit of a slow start Roseland got the score board moving, and kept Camelford from getting started.

Roseland’s try scorers included Andy Harris getting his first Roseland try.

Next week we’re playing Penryn 2nds at home (kick off 2.30).

On the 28th it’s the second of our four Tribute Cup Pool games against Llankelly-Fowey. And away game with a supporters and players coach being organised see here for more details and to make sure your name is on the list.

Roseland 29 – Camelford 17

Not an easy game today.

Camelford took the lead for most of the first half, putting Roseland under a lot of pressure.

But, the boys pulled it back and even scored when reduced to just 14 men due to injury.

And you thought there was 3 weeks without any games…

Well, the next 3 weekends we now have friendlys! So no break in games, first 2 are away, then the third is at home – so we finish the month with 2 games at Philleigh:

  • 7th – St Austell 2nds Away – KO 3pm
  • 14th – Falmouth 2nds Away – KO 3pm
  • 21st – Camelford – Home – KO 3pm
