Newquay Hornets 45 – Roseland 8

Our second league game of the year showed much more promise than the numbers suggest.

Ed Llewelyn went over for a great try in the first 20 minutes, and we held Newquay very close for the first half. A smattering of injuries and illnesses meant we lost momentum in the last quarter.

We look forward to welcoming Newquay to Philleigh in November.

We’re playing at home for the rest of the month – Perranporth on the 18th is looking like a very exciting afternoon (last week they lost 65-0 to Newquay), and the week after we play new entrants to the division this year Veor.

See you on the rugby field.
