Charity Match Against Greenmount

Last Friday night we got to play under the floodlights at Camborne RFC (first time Roseland’s ever played in the UK under floodlights?).

The match was against an invitational team, Greenmount Carpets RFC, and was played to raise money for Ella’s Memory a charity that helps the parents of stillborn babies.

A good turn out from the Roseland team included coach Andy Day putting in a full 80 minutes in the pack!

I keep forgetting to ask what the score was – but we didn’t quite win.

The big win of the evening was certainly raising over £270 for the charity! So well done all.

Home game this Saturday, kicking off at 2.30 – definitely against Newquay, and probably against Perranporth as well (just waiting on final confirmation).
